The right financing enables a business to grow to its full potential but what is the right strategy for your business? In this presentation, Logan Metcalfe will discuss how to customize a financing strategy to match your business based on:

- Stage of development of your business
- Growth potential of your company
- Amount of financing needed
- Purpose for which you need financing 
- Method and timing for paying back financing
- Reputation/finances of you and your team

The presentation will outline the main types and sources of financing with discussion focusing on equity, convertible debt, bank debt and grants. Learn how to create a financing strategy to match your business!
 
Logan Metcalfe is founder of Arena Consulting that provides CFO and business consulting services to companies experiencing or anticipating rapid growth. 
Logan joined Immaculate Baking Co. in 2003 where he served as CFO / COO for five and a half years and helped it become America’s leading brand of all-natural refrigerated cookie dough. He crafted the company’s business plan, established key financial and operational processes and raised over $7.6MM in angel and venture capital investment. 
Prior to Immaculate, Logan was a Senior Management Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton in Sydney and New York, where he consulted for several Fortune 100 companies and helped establish an initiative to accelerate the development of high impact technology start-ups.
 
Logan graduated from the University of Auckland with degrees in Business and Arts and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Logan also serves as Treasurer for YouthBASE that helps kids overcome serious behavioral, academic, social and emotional difficulties, enabling them to unlock their potential to become contributing members of society.
